On life and its vagaries

Only Fallen Desires

with 8 comments

This night- has a way to it-

Its feverish, it’s chancy………

And it’s not dark-

It’s demented.

(It raves on its own and sings a macabre song)

YES

This,

Is not a night……….

It’s the cold noon of anguish

See, in those shades,

Hiding from the faint light of the sky

Are phantoms

Slithery – ancient

Biding their time

Watching, maneuvering,

Gesturing in a shadow tongue

They wouldn’t wink

Nor think

Nothing

Make them

sync

Those………

(See those that blink and scuttle,

Yes, over the skies?)

They are no stars

But satyrs

And

There aren’t any meteors

But only fallen desires ……
