On life and its vagaries

Couldn’t be!

with 6 comments

There are pits you fall into when you are dealing with images.  Unless the images come out live and pulsating they would falter  and literally shrink in front of you.  I can’t claim this one’s a success. Its more verbal than its emotive, may be it needs mediation to make it something lively.   Well then, thats what I lack!

Couldn’t be!

I have been bemused

For the last few days.

For, the other day,

The sky fell into my heart and splintered

I could no more shut my eyes

The moment I do so

The myriad fragments bring-

Their variegated paraphernalia

Before my mind to view.

It’s a rush of images and sounds.

Yet when I open them

I get the absent skies of  the moon

Blacker than the black

With stars like riveted holes in a dark tapestry

Galaxies springing out of a Vangogh

Comets with long brushes creating-

Spiraling glut

But where exactly is the sun?

Am I in the land of the shade

Where the sun remains demised?

Couldn’t be!

  3. Yes I am fine! Thank you Jingle 🙂
    Those were very kind thoughts!

I know I am remiss in not replying
    promptly. It might surprise you,
I am still a bungler with the key-
boards and computers, still very much
a tyro. Thats no excuse I know. But
    I will make amends!

    here in India
