Lanes we run on

It’s only an elephant shrew

Big eyes (Frightened brown)

Quick-

Tremulous snout…..

It  crosses a lane we  run.

A  bit of straw

Manifests  an eagle

A slip in path

Could be    fatal

It’s only an elephant shrew.

  4. Well there are such helicopters dear Trisha, they are sometimes called sky cranes

The most powerful of them in use now is the Mil Mi-26 (Russian) I think. It can lift a weight of 20 tons. It moves train engines from place to place and they are much heavier than elephants. The biggest elephant recorded in history weighs only 8 ¼ tons.

  12. I have always wondered how this expression “touch wood” came along. It seems to have some connection with Christ.

“Knock on wood” also seems to be used in certain parts of the world.

I am happy to learn that your new monitor is working well, can guess what happened with the old one, if it was CRT .

  13. i have not cremated the old one.. the service guy is still planning to come, he had some sad accident at his home… so we have left the thing entirely on him.

  14. Never even think of cremating anything with a CRT monitor. It might explode and take everything with it.
