On life and its vagaries

There is nothing more to learn

with 14 comments

(And so I went,

In search of truth..…..)

Queried my   heart, seek  in pain?

Ah, did I try? Sought so long,

All in vain.

Whispered the  priest, see  you those,

The temple, church, synagogue,  mosque,

Should be within, (Er, so we feel………)

Did I wait? Went inside…..

Nary gain.

Held the sage, look you within,

It is there, but keep thine eyes shut

Didn’t I oblige? Kept them shut,

Oh, what   terrible  darkness there!

Sad,  and so returning

Saw  a puzzling  sight

Couple, so very old and bent

Crossing  a puddle by path.

They seemed so  single

And so very together

That there was nothing

More to learn.

There was nothing

More to learn.

  3. you are being too sweet. 🙂
some people seek truth in God
some people seek truth in work
some people seek truth in human beings
some people seek truth in pleasure
to me every one is correct..

  4. You have expressed it more lucidly than I did 🙂
There could be many paths towards the same point. But being the laziest of souls, I believe in the least difficult path 🙂

  10. There is nothing to it really dear Trisha, here goes my first rhyming one 🙂

    I have always been weak
    With no illness to speak
If some one gave me a tweak
    Could it be a geek?
    🙂

  13. life is a game for lucky souls
for they know they will go
    whenevery the whistle will blow
    the playground will stay below.

  14. Life is a game even otherwise
So says some people very wise
I would not have you so devise
A game within, to trick your eyes
